- Shel a few q's:
1. What is the significance of the University of Chicago Dept. of Economics?
2. Who is Obama's economic adviser?
3. What school did he attend?
Cheers. ....
FEEL THE POWER OF GOOGLE! Lol... here's to shotguns. The correct answer is: 1. The University of Chicago Dept. of Economics is largely associated with the rise of neo classical free market policies. 2. Austan Goolsbee 3. University of Chicago (sry I meant does he attend, meaning teach at, he studied at MIT) IE this is in response to the "socialism" topic.

When I worked full time I was a machinist for my fathers company, but now that I'm part time I'm an office assistant

| m(community organizer) > m(office assistant), where m is a measure function s.t. m: Job-space -> Win-space.
Edit: Peter can I go on the over the line list too now?

- People who know Shel see this as a big joke (that includes Como, if you were still wondering Malaese). Those who don't have already grabbed their torch and pitchfork. Locking this thread now serves no purpose. If I was ever going to do it, I would've done so several pages ago.
I was the only officer that was against letting him in the guild when he apped the second time. If I wasn't clear, I was not saying you were a proponent of getting him in the guild when he applied, I was trying to explain to those who were wondering about the current perspective that you were rofl'ing in vent last night at all the going on in this thread. One last injection of killjoy (sorry Galt and Obamarahn, you may resume in a moment), while I certainly don't approve or condone most of what Shelarahn says, it is not as if he has initiated an unprovoked assault on the innocent members of this forum. There has been a systematic escalation on both sides. When he does cross the line and offends existing members of the guild, he is quick to explain or apologize. While this by no means exempts him from some of his more ridiculous levels of stupidity, I am surprised that his tactics have provoked such an intelligent crowd to match him point for point. In conclusion, while we the officers appreciate any advice or insight as to how to run our guild, things change, and many of you have lost both perspective and objectivity. I appreciate the history lesson Malaese, and I am aware of the events surrounding both the formation of this guild and those involving one Mr. Apedog, but I do not believe they are being repeated here. This certainly isn't my first rodeo, and the current officer council has both the levelheadedness and intelligence to see through this tizzy and actual crises. One "last" (lol...) note, Petrus. Read the above post, six or seven times, take a deep breath, and then instead of making another post in this forum, go post some more numbers about tanking statistics. I like you buddy, but this forum clearly isn't your natural environment (although your latest post was pretty amusing, and I may take that into consideration). I am against censorship, so I tend to avoid deleting posts. It is generally better in the long run for stuff to be hashed out anyway. Locking threads is usually a very bad idea as at best it pens up feelings of dissent and consternation, and usually it just inspires the creation of another thread. If a thread is ever to be locked, it should be allowed to run its course, with some feeling of conclusion (or at least, abasement). Say, now that I mention that, now seems to be as good a time as any... *clink* P.S.- Shel, if you cause this level of drama again, the south will think that Sherman has risen from the grave to pack their shit in a second time. Oh, and I'll probably gkick you. The rest of you, shut the fuck up; it was amusing at first but we're all tired of hearing about this. P.P.S.- I apologize to Galt and Obamarahn for ending this thread when they seemed to be taking it in a new direction. Perhaps you two can create a "Photoshop-off" or something.
