What is your trinket set-up? Do you need any obvious upgrades (DST, HSH, etc?) I have around 9 different trinkets i switch around according to what is needed

Last Exile: I didn't like how things were going.
Elis Guild: I got accepted into here but i turned it down due to the raid times. I thought i was able to make them but i can't. =
Raid Core: This is my current guild. It's a guild consisting of former Strength in Numbers, Nicotine, and DkI members. This is a decent guild but i'm looking for better progression.

Reason for my application:
I'm very dedicated when it comes to getting myself geared. My end goal is to be the most geared possible. I work hard for my goals and in doing so it will provide great service in raids. I feal damage done will help me reach my goals.

Why I’d be a good addition:
I know how to play my class well. I look up the fights i don't know and i always come to raids prepared. I work hard to be successful.

I Flashstep acknowledge to the agreement of the rules and times presented within Damage Done. These include Raid times, the loot system, and complacency with any additional rules as necessary. I also agree to be as prepared as can be before a raid. I agree that I may at times be benched if my class is not needed, my gear is sub-par and that I may lose a lot (items) due to the loot rules and from pure randomness. I also acknowledge that raiding can be stressful and things said in raid chat/vent are not to be taken personally. I am willing to research fights on my own time so that I do not have to have the encounter explained to me. I also am fully aware of the basics of my class in a raid.

I also have a decent geared mage as my alt. He isn't bt ready but he is geared enough to do pre hyjal raids.

Your spec is fine, I agree with most of your gems and enchants, though I'm curious if there is any specific reason you use 26 heal/reduced threat meta. 12int+chance to restore mana is commonly known as the better meta for pallies.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you have a different pair of boots (or plan on getting some soon) that will have a better enchant. I recommend Boar's Speed, though if you are short on cash Vitality is a good choice as well.

Lower City Prayerbook is a great trinket, but do you have any others you can use instead of having 2 prayer books? If not, you should look into getting Scarab of the Infinite Cycle from normal BM. 70 healing and a chance on cast to get spell haste (really good for pallies) and if you don't get that, the Essence of the Martyr badge trinket is just as viable.


Oh, and have you done any BT bosses? You didn't mention it in your app.

Why weren't you able to make the Elis Guild raid times and why are you confident you can make our times? Also, what do you do IRL for a living and in which time zone to you reside? These are important in our consideration of your potential raiding reliability.

Like i said i have many different trinkets. I currently don't have the one from bm but i am trying to get it. The reason for my meta gem is that i had a spare one on me that was provided to me by a friend. I will get the int meta gem in as soon as possible. Also, i have never stepped into Black Temple but i would love to have the experience. For the flying mount question... i still did not purchase a flying mount beacuse i feal no real purpose in doing so, as the money could be put to better use, but if it needed i get one i have no problem in doing so. I am currently going to my first year of college and i would have no problem making most of the raids. The reason i couldn't make Elis Guild's times was beacuse they were way to early in the morning and im really not into getting up that early. If you have any other questions please let me know i would be happy to answer them.

That doesn't make any sense. Elis Guild raids at the same time of day we do, just on different days. If Elis Guild's raid are way too early in the morning for you, wherever you live, which must be like Singapore or something, then our raids are also too early in the morning for you.

It troubles me somewhat that in your reason for applying to the guild revolves entirely around you getting gear. Would you care to elaborate on this?

Yeah... i think i might have had some miscommunication with the officer i spoke with about Elis Guild. I was told that the raid times were at 5 am server. I live in the central time zone and 5am server would have been 7 am my time.

I don't mean to sound selfish at all. I am a team player. I just feal that my end goal is to get myself geared. That being said if i work hard and put out a good effort to reach that goal, then i don't see anything wrong with it. If i try my best and do everything that i can to make a raid work and be successful then it will provide a great raid for you and I.

I went and asked an officer in Elis Guild, and he said you were never accepted to said guild. Therefore, you lied on your application, and we must therefore decline.
