A shadow resist set for Mother Sharhaz? No.

What is your trinket set-up? Do you need any obvious upgrades? Right now its Essence of the Martyr and Scarab of the Infinite Cycle. I can get an upgrade (Lower City Prayer Book), and there may be a better/side grade trinket from a heroic or badges.

Where are you from? (do you speak/understand English well?) I float around the US, so I speak my english quite well, I think my english teaching grammie would have my head if I didn't.

How old are you? 19 or so.

Do you have a mic/headset for vent? I do.

Do you have Grid, XPerl, PallyPower, or some other UI that helps you buff, pick up loose aggro, etc? I have the first two, but well, not the pally addon.

Raid Experience Weeell, lets see. On my priest, its sadly limited to karazhan and zulaman. On my hunter I have experience up to ohh, Teron Gorefiend in BT. (Exception of Archy in Hyjal.)

Guild History My priest has always been in Dusk.

Acknowledgment of agreement to our rules and times Last I heard it was 6 30 server tues and fri night and 2 30 sunday- And those weekday hours are fine, Im off work by 6ish. However on sundays, if I work that day, I wont be done until a little after 3 server. And the rules all sound understandable to me.

Preparedness for the next scheduled raid, unless stated here Well despite the rust thats grown on my keyboard from my 2 - 3 months off from WoW, Im totally ready.

Reason(s) for applying I miss raiding! I haven't done it in so long- raiding with the right group of people can just be too much fun. And I'd like to get my priest some more gear, holy and shadow. And theres some good people in heeree.

Final Thoughts, why you would be a good addition to Damage Done I know what I'm doing, well 90% of the time, and if I don't, I always try and figure out how to do something; etc. I really do enjoy raiding, and Id hope Id add a positive note to any raid group

Eh, I'll look your gear/gem/enchant/spec over later and I don't really think another holy priest would be that bad of an idea since Anuvar and Saniel aren't exactly around 100% of the time. Not that I hold it against them.

Hello and thank you for your interest in our guild,

We usually pass over people who are in your level of gear, but I have heard some pretty decent recommendations regarding your application. Basically the analysis of your current gear set up can be summed up in one word: Badges.

Your HP is scary low, and while I like the attempt to offset the deficit with a few pieces of PvP gear, I would also recommend getting an arena wand (preferably S4) to supplement your 7k health. Getting the 2.4 badge gear will bump your healing and mana regen up to T6 standards, so I'd get as many of them as quickly as possible (you really, really need the ilevel boost, Ich will provide details).

Finally, if you're not going to get Improved Divine Spirit, there is little reason to get Divine Spirit by itself (and not be CoH Holy). All in all, your spec confuses me, can you explain why you got 1/2 Holy Reach and 1/2 Healing Prayers? If and when you come on a trial run, expect to be put through your paces as CoH, as it is harder to judge the capability of an applicant if they run a support spec like Divine Spirit.

Oh yes, Im quite the badge farming machine- not having all my badge items is due to not playing since early june-ish. I have 50 or so now, so in a few runs I can get an upgrade to my boots; would be a great improvement all across the bored, and of course eventually that sweeet mace.
I'm sitting on oooh, 10k or so honor points and not quite 1500 arena points, the wand was what I wanted- but I have failed to get an arena partner for more than a week for more than 10 games. (: Its still a want though- I wont give up on it yet!

Lets seee- My spec. I got 1/2 holy reach mainly because- Im not CoH, and I mostly ran 5 mans where my PoM sadly didnt do much good. And why I got 1/2 healing prayers- really cant tell you that. I got DS just to play around with upping my spirit, then throwing it away and putting in plus to healing (with gems/enchants). As far as I can remember, this was my first holy and really only holy spec I stuck with and tried using, simply because I was disc most of the time for arenas. I try to stay up to date and know what specs are good and where to put my points- I must have fallen out of touch! How embarrassing.

also I would go after a new wand because it looks to be your weakest piece right now, now i know you said you are doing kara and ZA, you may also what to try and find a pug for Gruul Mag, or every TK for some lootreaver shoulders.... also i think your neck would be of more use if you where aldor and not scryer because aldor adds +healing and i think scryer just does random damage to targets, A pvp neck would be a nice swap for this if you didn't want to switch factions as this would give you more stam and a socket to play with

one last thing... 19 or so? do you not know how old you are

the SSO healing neck does a proc for about 600 hp. can crit.

You weren't entirely wrong, the SSO caster dps neck gives a chance on cast to do about 300 dmg to your target. it can crit too.

its currently bugged (I think it still is), but it can proc off of anything, and its got an unlimited range, so if you bandage yourself but target somebody, you have a chance to proc the neck and hit somebody from a massive distance.

they may have hotfixed this, but i would use this on rogues trying to run away to keep them in combat.

I believe that they fixed it, and I believe the Arena S4 wands are 1000 Arena points and entirely worth the investment.

Careful, I hear deth randomly transfers to Illidan server when she gets bored.

Unless you're Aldor, the SSO healing neck is worse then the Pvp Healing Neck and just try to snag the one off the Eagle Boss in ZA. I think the only upgrade for us is in like... SWP somewhere.

Also, Taldra, next time you suggest a spec to a class you don't play I'd suggest you try not to suck so hard. Close though, but do it again and I will permanently assign you to nothing but Warlock healing. I'm the Healing Officer, I can do that. I'm sure Scrub and Demoniack wouldn't complain.

I'd go with that one. You gem choices all around are fine and one word of caution to you is don't break your PMC set bonus until you have both shoulders and a chest. The belt isn't that much of a big deal, though the Belt of the Long Road is a craftable upgrade... even if I never had it made. Again, first boss in ZA drops a very decent chest, which would free up badges for boots or even a ring.

But having a set of gear to boost you over 10k hp is somewhat necessary as quite a few bosses throw out a lot raid-wide damage. Otherwise pre-emptive shielding goes a long way.

Yeah Ich, this was the spec I made this morning = New spec 3.0 Which I'm pretty sure is an exact copy of the one you gave me. (I did some early morning reading on elitist jerks for some updates). Im sadly, a little too aware of all my upgrades, Ill have to browse through a little more to pick out exact bosses- but I know badges are easy for upgrades, and ZA.
