So I went to the fridge to get some after-dinner grub, and I turned on the TV, flipped the channel to Cartoon Network (adult swim) and this crappy ass excuse for a cartoon show was on.

Apparently Bruce Wayne is now some blue-eyed nancy boy who teams up with heroes named, and I shit you not, "The Red Tornado." Guess what his special power is? If you said "turning into a giant red tornado," you're right! In this episode (what little I watched of it) it seems that Gotham is being invaded by martians who are trying to steal earth's christmas spirit.

WHAT THE FUCK?

I remember when Batman was the gritty, dark, cartoon show that only the bold and the brave (read: those kids who got to second base) watched. This craptastic anime shit is sullying the Dark Knight's good name. Without the original Batman, how will our kids know how satisfying it is to punch a knife-wielding goon in the gut until he passes out.

Sigh, /nostalgia.
