| PVE Talent Spec http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sZaxZVfbtbIucrsguAo For general PvE. Armory Linkhttp://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Gorgonnash&n=MechanicsI'll try to stay in my PvE gear so it shows up as such. Stats (Unbuffed)PHYSICAL DPS ONLY: AP: 3320 Hit: 283 Crit: 25.73% Haste: 313 Expertise: 19 What is your trinket set-up? Do you have the 2 minute PvP trinket? Do you need any obvious upgrades?Red Sphere of Dragon's Blood and Mirror of Truth. Yes I have a 2 minute PvP trinket. I'd like to have Grim Toll so I have more hit to fool around with, but other than that Bandit's Insignia and Fury of the Five Flights. What is your glyph set-up?For PvE it would be 10% more judgment damage, the consecration glyph, and glyph of crusader strike for lack of a better option. Where are you from? I'm from Connecticut, and I currently live outside of Philly. Yes I'm fluent in English. How old are you?18 Do you have a mic/headset for vent?Yes, although the mic itself is finicky so I can't always talk. Do you have Grid, XPerl, PallyPower, or some other UI that helps you buff, pick up loose aggro, etc?Yes, except I had to turn PallyPower off since it lags me occasionally in things like WG, I can always turn it back on. Raid Experience 10 man Naxx, Sarth (0 drakes), Malygos. 25 man Naxx, Sarth (0 drakes), Malygos. Guild HistoryI've just been hanging out in guilds me and my real life friends make when we're bored. Acknowledgment of agreement to our rules and timesUnderstood. Are you prepared for the next scheduled raid? No, I will be going home from college then for spring break. Reason(s) for applyingI'd like to experience some of the new content coming out since I missed out on that opportunity in BC, plus being ahead in PvE has its advantages in PvP. Final Thoughts, why you would be a good addition to Damage DoneI definitely know my class, I'm really laid back, and I'd feel comfortable saying I'm the best ret paladin on the server. If possible, please include a screenshot of your UIhttps://2img.net/h/i38.photobucket.com/albums/e129/Sherman454/1WoWScrnShot_030309_231255.jpgThis one I just found funny, if you'll indulge me. (Especially my girl like excitement in g-chat.) https://2img.net/h/i38.photobucket.com/albums/e129/Sherman454/WoWScrnShot_022609_165647.jpg

Which BC instances are you referring to? BT? SWP? - Mechanics wrote:

Those are some brave words. If you get a trial, you might want to either change your stance or be ready to back it up. ~ Sean

| In terms of BC instances, I've done all of the fights (except Illidan) In BT, and none in SWP. I've done everything before that.
And by "best ret paladin" I was referring to it more on a PvP level, but I'd assume that'd translate over to PvE, and my determination of usefulness past that would only be reflected in my gear.

| Quick questions:
Why 21 Agi/3% Crit instead of 21 Crit/3% Crit meta? Why all green gems other than the Dragons Eyes?
Other than that it looks pretty good to me.

| Well, the agility if I'm not mistaken requires less of other color gems other than red, if not I'm just retarded. (I may be retarded anyways since the dragon eye's fill the requirements.)
Secondly, the green gems mainly because I haven't focused on PvE too much in Wotlk yet, mainly PvP (plan to change that) so I spent all my money on my PvP gear, plus they're generally heroes items which will be replaced relatively easy and I didn't feel like spending gold on gear I'd replace soonish.

| It does require different gems, but because you're a JC that doesn't matter. The dragons eyes count as blue for the meta requirement. | |

| mech was a good ret paladin when i saw him in action.
the only time though that comes to mind off the top of my head is when i randomly ran through westfall and he was camping the flight master.
gear and talents look fine to me.
im curious, when the next patch rolls out, where are you going to put your 5 talents from kings into?

Right, hence why I'm retarded. I was probably just trying to not spend a lot of money. I haven't thought about it to a huge extent, but a 3.1 PvE spec from what I've come up with would look something like: http://talent.mmo-champion.com/?paladin=500501000000000000000000005000000000000000000000005232051203331302133231331&glyph=000000000000&version=9637There may be better ideas though, I'd have to think about it. The 15% intellect would become a lot handier in raids due to its increasing effect from buffs than the 250 intellect it gives now which in the end also grants me more Mp5 from Divine Plea. The larger aura could be for fights when melee are apart from ranged DPS or healers. If it proves useless I'd probably just put it into improved lay on hands for lack of a better option. Maybe in a reduced fear time if there's a boss that fears, dunno.

| Out of curiosity, why Spiritual Focus instead of Seals of the Pure? Not that either is terribly helpful, just curious. And for reference WoWHead has its 3.1 calculator up on the site. http://ptr.wowhead.com/?talent | |

| Well, Seals of the Pure is purely for tanking, however sometimes on a fight I may have an add on me or something and I need to heal and the healers are busy with more important people (i.e. tanks/themselves) so I'll need to keep myself up. Therefore, having spell push back protection to keep an add from killing me before I can get off a holy light could help. Like you said, neither are really that important and they both have one time specific roles more or less. Seals of the Pure would be for picking up a boss if one tank died, putting corruption on, going sword and board and popping shield wall until another tank can get control of the boss while I sacrifice myself so the boss doesn't go rapping other DPS. The thing is, I think switching to corruption would lose me too much aggro in that situation anyways since I'd have to start stacking it and other DPS are probably gonna pass me in threat, so I'd just put on command instead. | |

| If Ulduar is as lore ridden as we're to believe, I may have to play "Jizz in my pants" over vent every time we get a cut scene / boss kill just for Petrus. | |

Meet up + sex? Mechanics, that was the most logical thing a Paladin has ever written which my own two eyes have laid upon. Petrus, this might be your chance to have sex. Go. Don't be like Serayne and wuss out.
