WTF is up with Sunday and Monday highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s, when all the rest of the week the lows are close to or higher than the highs for those 2 days? On top of that, it's supposed to be sunny on those days! Melting icecaps keep things interesting?
^--- a traffic camera this morning during my trip to work (a bit foggy, no?)
Not sure why I'm referenced in your fairy tales.. but ok.
30s is fucking cold though for december. Its going to reach 70 tomorrow and thats more like it. It usually doesn't get really cold here til almost feb.

On Vancouver Island we barely get a weeks worth of snow a year, but no one knows how to fucking drive in it when we do get it. So we get pile-ups on the highway during rush hours, and people crawling down the cleared roads at 20, tailgating each other, paranoid out of their minds.

Exactly the same in Seattle. Bad snow drivers make me go emo.

I wouldn't expect something like that in Canada.
In California, we get about 6-10 feet around 7000ft in elevation. Even with all the idiots, homos, liberals, minorities, *insert derogatory comment or other group of people here*, we normally don't have any major problems on the roads even in the worst conditions. Usually, the only problem we have is mud/landslides that block roads.
