Wow, zone alarm is the devil.

I tried to install it (didn't know the never versions are satan), and it hangs on install. It installs just enough so that it blocks my internet connection if i try to stop the single process it installs. I have to try to install it every single time I start up the computer to be able to use it. Any ideas?

I had zone alarm, and it interacted with Internet explorer and caused bad problems. Tech support people actually say if you have the newest version fo internet explorer, that could be a problem. Once I removed that, I could use the internet again (But my computer had worse problems, such as a bad system board and a bad hard drive)

After that, a tech support guy laughed at me, called me a noob for using zone alarm, and told me to go get AVG instead. Are you getting an error when you load zone alarm? Or when you try to access the computer?

I've been afraid to even try zone alarm again, since last time I did it locked up my internet completely.

What did you need ZA for anyway? You not go through a nat?

PS3 get buttfucked after the patch if you have any kind of filtering.

Try port forwarding or segmenting the network for the PS3s? Opening the router up is a scary solution.
