| Your raid talent spec: Standard BM 41/20 Your relevant stats for raiding: Arena Spec (11/41/9) I have 2017 ATP, 35.59% Crit, 486 Agility. As BM my ATP drops some, with the lack of marks talents. If I remember right ~1800. Other stats don't change. I can swap 40 CR for 72 ATP as well. Hit rating is ~77, could add in another 24 swapping out Kara ring for S2 PVP ring. Weapon is s3 rifle w/28 crit & s3 welfare axe. Disclaimer: I know this isn't perfect gear for PVE. Since TBC I've really on PVP'd with this guy. Gear is full s3 arena, full s3 pvp, and shadowsong panther jc trinket. Also, I'm JC/Ench so will always have a lil extra with ring enchants and JC BOP jems. Lastly, I'm WOW rich from JC. I can easily afford to be flasked 100% of the time, and pound mana pots or whatever else while I'm catching up in gear, buy epic hit gems off AH, etc. If you check my armory you can see I've put a lot effort (best gems/enchants) into every gear peice, I'd do the same for PVE. Your raid experience. Both Pre and Post TBC experience: I was in a 4H guild on Azshara prior to TBC (and all lesser PVE pre-tbc), server pretty much died and gave up on my hunter for a while. Came back in S2 but have really only done PVP on this guy, like I said. Have cleared kara/gruuls though! Acknowledgment of agreement to our rules and times. I can make raid times. No problem. Two major upgrades to your gear for your class/spec from MH/BT: Bristleblitz Striker, stormrage ring. I only say that ring because of hit. Really, the bow is not a huge upgrade -- bigest upgrade anything with +hit. A short guild history: This server I've not been in any serious guilds. When I first transferred I was invited to Underlords, but gave up on that quick - very sloppy raid orginzation, no progress, etc. After that was guildless for a while - just focused on farming PVP (when I came back to this char he was full t3, so I had some work to do). Then Sunny D and now Space Jam (joke/friends guilds). The reason you are applying to Damage Done: Accomplished my PVP goals, eager to check out TBC raid content. I don't think I've played with many of you, but you guys seems to be progressing well, your raid times work, and you might need a hunter. Finally, tell us in one or two sentences why you would be a good addition to Damage Done: I'm pretty serious when it comes to raiding, I don't afk or pull functioning-retard moves. When I don't know whats up, I listen and try hard to copy/learn from my fellow hunters -- I'm thick skinned enough to take abuse and learn from it. | |

| Nice application, well written and easy to read unlike most.
Hit rating is definitely low but like you say, not optimal pve gear. At least everything you have is properly gemmed/enchanted.

| You're in if you carry my PvP-Project druid to 1850.
That being said, what is your opinion on the weapon speed versus weapon dps trade off?

Not so much that I've noticed a problem, but then again my PVE lately is limited to heroics really, where the mobs are less likely to resist it and I can't be 1 shotted. I generally FD before nearing the top of threat meters anyway. - Quote :

That being said, what is your opinion on the weapon speed versus weapon dps trade off? For sure s4, gona try pushing for glad this weekend though. If that fails miserably, np. I'm no math wizard, but I'm well aware that for BM weapon speed > weapon dps, to some extent, due to shot rotation timing. Ex., wolfslayer > prince bow. Generally if I'm not sure on an item I'll just plug it into cheeky's spreadsheet (nice hunter dps calculator) to double check dps gains. I'm sure badge bow is slightly more actual dps than my s3 gun, for bm, too. Though, I think as far as badge gear goes there are some better pve upgrades to tackle first.

~1k dps is definitely pretty impressive for a subtier 5 or 6 geared player.

He passes for being knowledgeable about hunter mechanics.
