Pre-BC I have done up to first boss in Naxx, but no aq40. Post BC I have done kara/gruuls/ssc and all of tk but Kael.

Acknowledgment of agreement to our rules and times:
I will be able to make atleast 2 of the raids a week, and should make all 3 all the time. I understand I will be benched if not needed. I am fine with that and dont mind sitting out. I also fully understand and agree with your loot system. I promise to be fully prepared for all raids.

Two major upgrades to your gear for your class/spec from MH/BT:
The Maelstrom's Fury off of High Warlord Naj'entus would be a huge upgrade from my Blood-maw Magus Blade.

I also would love The Blood-cursed Shoulderpads off of Gurtogg Bloodboil to replace my Season 1 Pvp shoulders =(

A short guild history:
Well, this is Zeroku if any of you remember me. I just transfered back to gorgonnash but while I was here before I was in Deep Blue for the most. I left them because I was unable to play much nor did I want to play much anymore. Upon leaving them I went to COMMUNISM, where I raided casually. In their was where I met Smolder, who told me to app here. Transfered to Illidan and stopped playing and just reactived my account and now im back on Gorg.

The reason you are applying to Damage Done:
Like I previously stated, I just reactivated my account and want to get into end game raiding more. You guys seem like a good guild and my good friend Smolder has said great things about you all. I understand you are not recruiting mages at this time and my gears not up to par. But I feel I could assist you in raiding. I want to experience Black Temple and Mount Hyjal and Damage Done seems to be the perfect opportunity.

Finally, tell us in one or two sentences why you would be a good addition to Damage Done:
I think I would be a good addition to Damage Done because I know my class well, and can perform my best in a raid environment. Like I said, its been a while since ive played and my gear is, well, outdated, but I will do my best to do the most dps I can and be a help to the guild. I understand you are full on mages at the time and am not expecting to be given a raid spot all the time if I do happen to get a guild invite, but Smolder says you guys are awesome and I thought id give apping here a shot.

I do have a quick follow up question:

Since Smolder obviously knows our current status with mages, is there a particular reason you are applying if you admit you are rusty and likely won't get a spot a lot of the time? It's not fun for a leader to have to cut the same people all the time (based on attendance, gear, skill), and people get hurt feelings. However, we have to make decisions that benefit the guild majority, so how do you feel about this, especially since you want to see BT but may not make it more than once every week or two?

I understand, and wont get upset. I accept I wont be taken to many raids and I understand your veteran raiders have all the rights over me. I just want to be able to raid when Im needed. Like I said you guys seem like a great guild and Id rather be in here raiding once a month then in another guild attending 100% of their raids. I dont expect spots until I prove myself a good dpser and dont expect them till I can upgrade my gear. Ill be able to be online for pretty much all of the raids and will be happy to attend the ones im needed to go to and happy to sit out for ones im not needed for. =)

Why did you transfer back and forth servers?

I went to Illidan when I was in communism because I got tired of raiding karazhan over and over again and some of my friends who used to play on Gorg were there. About 5 months ago I stopped playing and let my account sit. I reactivated the account planning on xfering back over here. Missed playing with old friends.

I'll admit, before I went to Illidan I tried my luck apping with Umbral Sect. I was running test raids with them for my app but made the decision to transfer to Illidan at that time. Because of that I'm not the most respected person when it comes to US members.

Have you done Vashj (do you have a vial)?

I have no Vial but I have done many many many attempts on her. I used to be on Dark Iron about 7 months ago and had about 4-5 1% wipes on her in a night with my guild when we were first learning it. I also did many Vashj attempts with US, but unfortunately was never lucky enough to be there for a kill.

Your stats don't match your armory, but I see you're wearing a Gladiator piece.

However, I doubt one piece is worth ~70 hit rating. Any idea what the discrepancy is?

I have gear with hit rating on it I swap out. Ill log out with my raiding gear now.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but ultimately we have decided to decline the application. Your stats are fine, but you stated it yourself: we just don't need any mages, even on the side (I have had at least one mage sit out almost every raid in the last month).
