Looks like it fits all of your parameters. Like I said I have a pistol with that 9x19 round and I like it. Seems a good size esp since Thop says you have small hands.

Yeah, while H&K is the shit bananas, if you are rocking the 9 get a Glock. Tried and true, only qualm anyone can ever come up with one is the overly-safe safeties on some.

45 on the other hand... HK all the way.

Overly-safe is probably a bad (good) way to put it, but a lot of people find the Glock's to be wonky. It's good though.

Well I meant that the glocks don't really have a safety. They have the trigger lever but its about as un-safetified as you can get in a modern pistol. Most pistols at least have a grip safety. Autos with a hammer, grip safety and push through safety are overly safe and its one of the reasons I don't like them.

Zyz, you looking for a first gat or something? Whats the reason for bringing up the HK?

I've been playing around with a few things. What made you convert support to the HK?

Just get a Shotty imo. Noone mistakes the sound of a shotgun round being loaded intot he chamber. Point and shoot, intimidation, spray and pray, stopping force, shotgun fills all roles.

Just gonna throw this out there Xeos, Shotguns are not exactly the ideal conceal carry weapon.

Nothing. I never got any response so just went with the one that is expensive and relatively difficult to maintain.

pfft, concealement. Hopefully the obvious firearm will provide enough intimidation that you never have to use the thing, only down side I can see is that you always have to have one hand holding it.

The Beretta 92 (military M9) is probably my least favorite pistol I have yet to experience so far. I may be jaded after having to carry one as my duty weapon for the last 3 years. Horribly placed safety, weak internal mechanisms that are prone to breaking frequently, huge grip for a 9mm, and god damn the thing weighs a ton when its loaded. All metal guns FTL.

I'm quite fond of my Springfield XD .40 cal. Awesome gun, relatively compact, and the knockdown of a .40.

I have a Springfield XD-M on loan out of the shed. It's the second gen of the Springfield XD 9mm I believe. It's pretty nice, but it doesn't hold a candle to the P30.

From this point on, I'm only looking to move up in caliber. I will have to put a few hundred rounds through the P30 and see how I like it, but so far it's fantastic. My only real "concern" is stopping power.
