| Good stuff. Set up some Crossfire dog. I'm probably going to be getting some upgrades here pretty soon. Don't know if I want to go balls to the wall and get a new mobo and all for the new i7s. Thing is they all only take DDR3 also, and that shit is hella expensive. Hopefully some new stuff comes out after xmas and all the prices drop.
Why did you get ATi over nVidia, just out of curiosity? | |

| right now, this ATI card is top of the heap, although it draws more idle power than a GT280. It's essentially two ATI 4750 chips in an in-package cross-fire. 2GB of DDR5 video memory too! As for *actual* x-fire? Heh. this bad boy already set me back. Maybe after the prices come down more.
Also, I realized today I was a moron and bought 2GB of memory instead of 4. DOH. Oh well. It's DDR2-1066 so I should be able to hack it until I can scrounge another couple bucks. | |
