| This one says it all: - Quote :
- Palin said she is leaning on her faith and looking for any future opportunities.
"I'm like, OK, God, if there is an open door for me somewhere, this is what I always pray, I'm like, don't let me miss the open door," she said in an interview that aired Monday on Fox News.

| Assuming she doesn't end up the senator from Alaska (Ted Stevens wins, is voted out by the senate body, Palin resigns, her former Lt Gov appoints her to his old seat), I'm really rooting for Palin to run in 2012 because she'll now be running with basically four more years of moose knowledge and Obama will have four years of the Presidency under his belt.
So yes, I would love for her to run because I can predict exactly how that election will turn out for the GOP.

| I can't see anyone in the GOP even suggesting Sarah Palin for a presidency bid with all the idiocy she's promulgated. At this point, she's as toxic as a sub-prime mortgage backed security.
The speculation all seems to be accompanied with an undercurrent of "could they possibly be this stupid again?" While I'd love to be proven wrong, I think they've learned their lesson. They're evil, not dumb.

| My room mate here (who is German, born in the UK, and brought up in France) found this quote the other day and showed it to me. He never cared at all about politics and routinely makes fun of me for regularly following the news, etc... (He is an art student.)
He hurt himself from laughing for so long after seeing it.
In an alternate universe, Americans are the joke of the human race.
Thank god we live in this universe (at least for the next 4 years).
