Raids & Dungeons - The Dual-Talent spec feature will let you switch between your two specs without having to go back to town. You can perfectly do it between fights in a raid, however it won't be possible to switch specs in the middle of an Arena Match. Your keybinds and glyphs will be saved and automatically switched as you change your spec.
* Action bars will flip when you switch your spec so you don't have to re-do all your keys.
* It will likely also tie into Glyphs so you don't have to re-do Glyphs whenever you switch specs.

Awesome.

PvP - They also want players to be able to level up in battlegrounds through XP rewards in addition of honor. Daily quests will also be added.

A feature might be added to "kick" AFK players in raid without having to wait 30 minutes until they disconnect
A lot of improvements are on the way for the LFG tool

About time.

Actually a frost and fire mages are need for raids, and they bring different buffs (wtfright?) to the raid. A more accurate lineup would be:

All-star character: Ret Paladins (because they can change specs to... Ret Paladins)
Biggest loser: Rogues

Interesting. I can only glean knowledge from the alarmist posts, it just sounded like you'd bring 4-5 druids so they can tank the stock HK and FL 5 boss fights plus the infinite adds fights then go boomkin on dps/tankspank. So you'd have extra combat res + innervate. Seems like most pure classes are going to lose raid spots out to hybrids pal/druid, but at least the speculation is that Ret. DPS is going to get hit before it goes live.

The dual spec thing is pretty neat, but allowing people to change between fights is going to be kind of tough to anybody who can't really switch roles, unless they give those characters clear superiority in the role.

Also, I realize casters can all pretty much use the same gear with the new system, but tank gear still seems to be clearly different from DPS gear, which may put some strain on your front line to get more gear for times when it's needed to switch.

Well, at least for warriors and paladins, the tank gear will at least give some semblance of DPS because of the large amounts of strength on it now. It won't have much crit, but it'll work in a pinch.

http://blogs.sfweekly.com/shookdown/2008/10/photos_the_babes_and_beasts_of.php

I saw this on Digg, had to throw it up here. Some of those costumes are really strange (as are some of the people) but I was rather impressed by the Priest T6 shoulders and the couple that did Mograine/Whitemane from SM (notably their weapons).

Edit: The undead (rogue I assume) was realllllly well done.

Druids won't be switching between feral and resto/balance because feral tanking and feral DPS are going to be two different specs.
