| PVE Talent Spec- http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warrior/talents.html?tal=320033013020000000000000505000551501205310510000000000000000000000I run with a variation of this depending on what the raid needs. Obviously I switch in and out of imp TC and Imp Demo depending on the other warriors in the raid. Heavy trash runs I switch the single point in imp Execute to imp WW. Armory Link- http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Gorgonnash&n=HonedI am in my PVE Gear save for my T6 helm which i interchange. The reason for my low Alchemy was a late switch back to it from Blacksmithing after I attained an S3 2h Mace. Stats (Unbuffed) HP: 11.2k PHYSICAL DPS ONLY- Approximations as i am arms right now AP:2450ish self buffed Hit:210 Crit:35-36% Haste:With haste gear I have around 75 w/o I have 0 Expertise:0 until execute range. I then switch in Fang Of Vashj. Do you have The Medallion of Karabor? No, I Have killed the appropriate bosses but my questline bugged in SSC making me unable to receive the continued quest. Consulted GM's about 20 times to no avail. A shadow resist set for Mother Sharhaz? (any pieces?) Yes What is your trinket set-up? Do you need any obvious upgrades? (DST, HSH, etc?) I could use the Shard of contempt but it refuses to drop for me and I am content with my trinkets. Where are you from? (do you speak/understand English well?) Originally from Brooklyn. Live on Long Island now. I am a Pizza Bagel so I speak a mix of guido/Hebrew. How old are you? 27 Do you have a mic/headset for vent? Yes Do you have Grid, XPerl, PallyPower, or some other UI that helps you buff, pick up loose aggro, etc? I use Bongos,DBM and Omen. That be it. Raid Experience All of TK/SSC/MH/BT Guild History Keg Party While Leveling! Hordecore for some time Pre-BC and then Obey/Months behind and Narcism going forward from that. Acknowledgment of agreement to our rules and times Understood and Agreed upon. Preparedness for the next scheduled raid, unless stated here I will Try Reason(s) for applying To be honest I am in a similar situation to Dimi. I have become a bit burnt out, as I have told Z, and I am looking for a good place to hang and enjoy my time. The entire Narcism thing through me for quite a loop as we had all invested so much time and effort into that guild. I can certainly make some raids and am pretty much always a text message away if a raid is short on people but I am not looking for a starting raid position. If this doesn't work for you guys I completely understand and will not harbor any ill will(rest in peace). I know quite a few people in DD and have enjoyed the time I have spent bsing with them and such. Like I said I can help out quite a bit if I am needed but I can't take the responsibility of a starting position at this time b/c of family issues. I would be happy to elaborate if needed. Final Thoughts, why you would be a good addition to Damage Done I think I can bring quite a few things to the table in DD including some flexibility for raiders who need a raid or two off. I am usually never caught off-guard and do my research before setting foot in a new encounter. I think a Fury warrior also offers some flexibility to the raid being that we put out ample dps as well as off tank if decently geared. I can listen well and bring some comedy(just what u need with D-nub joining) when the time is right. I'm not sure what my standing will be with Wow going forward but casual or not i would like to enjoy my time with some cool people. Thanks for your time. | |

| About freaking time. I'll let some warrior type person review your app, but considering how heavily we've been hounding you to join, it's a safe bet you're a shoe-in.
Can you make tonight's raid (6:45 server, invites 15 minutes beforehand) and have you read up on the Kalecgos fight?
Edit: So admittedly, I know a bit (but not much) about warriors. Your gemming/enchanting looks fine, but why the 24 AP/runspeed meta en lieu of 12 agil and 3% crit damage? Sucks that you never got a DST or Shard, have you looked into getting either MH or OH badge weapon? If you have a stockpile they sure won't be worth much in WotLK.

| Apparently SOMEBODY didn't read my app! Like I said I have the T6 helm that I use with the pve meta. As far as DST, w/ the amount of armor ignore I have Madness is actually better. But Shard would be nice. I never grabbed the badge weapons for two reasons. Most of my badges went to making some gold since I didn't have a lot of time to farm and I was first in line with a rogue for some glaives...rofl. | |

| Looks pretty legit. Quite honestly, I don't see how Z could have overlooked you not having cat's swiftness on your boots. Maybe because he thought you actually used the ap/speed meta (silly priest, L2WarriorPvP..oh, and reading helps)
Really don't see anything else wrong other than your being not even honored with SSO...(I find your lack of Shard of Contempt farming disturbing.)
Looking forward to seeing you in our wonderful melee group!

Uhhh what? You should always have 1 point in Imp WW so your rotation lines up with global cool-down. On a boss a fight that 1 second is a HUGE DPS loss, that's pretty much not a negotiable talent. Only spot you can take points out of to put into Imp Execute without losing DPS is Weapon Mastery, and that's only if you're expertise capped, which if you don't have Sunwell T6 and a Shard of Contempt you definitely aren't. - Quote :

It's understandable if you don't have a DST but this isn't true, it's anywhere from 20 to 10 DPS better than Madness depending on your gear. Obviously if your armor pen is soft capped you shouldn't use Madness.

Obviously if your armor pen is soft capped you shouldn't use Madness. Sorry for the delay Como I just noticed your post. I fail at explaining. Recently(in Narcism) I respecced for our current progression bosses(Council/Illidan) to give a shot at maximizing executes for these execute heavy bosses. I did this for two reasons. First we where having issues with the final 20% of Council which is a execute heavy fight given the penchant for massive amounts of our dps to fail and diaf. Second it was a suggestion I had read on I believe elitist jerks. I experienced some nice gains in overall dps and decided to give it a try on Illidan, another execute heavy fight given the issues we where having with killing the infernals. I also saw nice returns on all of our unsuccessful attempts with this spec. My normal spec for full clears includes, as you stated it should, 1 point in imp WW. I apologize for the miscommunication. As far as DST goes you are correct that many spreadsheets show it to be a increase over Madness. From what I see it is more marginal then the 10-20DPS you posted. Considering I am a bit heavy on pvp I also enjoy some gains from the hit, though marginal. Obviously if I where to attain DST I would use it but not with madness(2 passive trinkets is a no go).

Looking forward to seeing you in our wonderful melee group! Oops sorry didn't respond to this one either Serayne. Yes I need to grab run speed on boots for obvious reasons but before I grabbed that I helm I was using my S4 helm for PVE since council wouldn't drop the Shatterer Helm. As far as farming for the shard, you are correct that I totally slacked. Unfortunately like I said my time spent signing on outside of raids and one day for pvp became quite minimal in the last 4 or so months. Sarafain can attest to that...and to being fat.

| I dunno that almost makes sense but not really. Whether you get to do much DPS to the flames is pretty random, so you might not even be able to touch one while it's execute range or you might only get to touch it then. Nothing changes on Council at 20% and that's a LONG fight so there's no way that would help you there.
Passive trinkets are great. The only thing better than Shard/DST is Shard/Blackened Naaru Sliver, unless you're expertise capped (which I'm pretty sure is impossible without a shard).

| Like I said previously, Council is a long fight and one we struggled to keep dps up on. by maximizing my dmg output towards the end of the fight I was able to make up for some of the lost(dead) dps. Also if you can keep a constant rotation on Council I tip my hat to you adn your healers. I find it near impossible with the constant movement and avoidance issues.
For Illidan I also stated I specced that way b/c it was a progression fight;ie we had major issues with the flames. It was in efforts to help us over that hump for more P3 experience. I normally did not have a huge issue burning the flames at execute range barring tough eyebeam placement.
Passive trinkets ARE great but I prefer only one passive and one activated.
