| I was imagining more of a failure to notify a galactic bureaucracy and suffering imminent destruction in a Hitchhikers guide scenario, but Star Trek has indeed covered most of the "first contact" meme's. | As a Marvel fan, the LHC looks to me like a scientific disaster waiting to happen, and there will be some guy who gets zapped by rays of some sort from another dimension or has his molecules re-arranged, therefore becoming a Superhero.
