A shadow resist set for Mother Sharhaz? (any pieces?) no, but will work on it imediatly, if im accepted.

A fire resist set for Illidan? (tanks only, all others can delete this line) I have 16k in my prot set, and own a set of fire resist gear if you needed me to respec for some occassion.

What is your trinket set-up? Do you need any obvious upgrades? Im using bloodlust broach and shard of contempt. Obvious upgrades would be, DST, illy trink or Exualted ashentongue faction.

Where are you from? Im from oregon and I speak english very well.

How old are you? Im a 24 year old guy.

Do you have a mic/headset for vent? Yes to both.

Do you have Grid, XPerl, PallyPower, or some other UI that helps you buff, pick up lose aggro, etc?
I have Pally power, Omen, deadly boss mods and sw stats....when healing i use perfect raid.

Raid Experience Pre TBC I raided all of mc, all of bwl, aq20, zg, up to twin emps in aq40 and first 2 boss's in naxx. Post TBC I have completed Kara,ZA,Gruuls,Mag,TK,SSC,Hyjal I have tanked and healed hyjal. and BT ive done all but, RoS, Mother and illidain. I have been there for council kills tho.

Guild History Stonard Saftey Council, I was an officer their pre tbc and post tbc until they disband. Followed alot of fellow members over to rehab. Had some real life issues which cuase me to stop playing for a few months. I am returning now but have no raid spot, as well as they changed their schedules to a time I dont feel I could make even given the spot.

And I realize I shoudlnt miss one of the first raids offered to me, assuming I get accepted. But The application came after my arrangements were made.

Final Thoughts, why you would be a good addition to Damage Done I'm a Good Player, I know my Class very well, all 3 specs Im geared for all 3 and Am willing to be benched or respeced to help the raid on progression. as long as I can return to my prefered spec. I as well have 375 blacksmith and Mining and can forge Belt of the guardian, Red Belt of Battle, any of the nature and ice and shadowresit plate armor.

Definitely vouching for this guy he's a great pally. Having 3 sets of gear (and a fire resist set) is an awesome plus (If I'm not mistaken all 3 sets are BT/MH quality). I'd rather see him ret though cause that's his spec ;D



Edit: As far as nitpicking your gear goes, I recommend you grab the badge axe as its comparable to Cat's Edge. I think Mongoose is actually better than Executioner, too (Confirm/Deny Serayne?). Gem and all the otehr enchants are perfect though. Fuck Vanquishers Legplates though!

Its like this aye the badge gear is better, I had badges saved up, but we had no prot pally. So all my badges went to getting prot gear and Fire resist set For my current guild to progress. I had guildies using my account to tank so they wouldnt be stranded during my absense. And my badges went towards the gear they wanted... as far as vanq legs, I need the gems for the meta helm. cant replace till i can regem something . Now that Im back Im working on my ret stuff again. as far as Executioners goes, unless i have 840 arp which i dont mongoose is better. but the storm herald is what i been using with my pvp set =p and Since Im trying to obtain a cats edge,felspine or axe of harbringer, i dont have the gold to spend to replace mongoose at this time, so I figure ill drop mongoose on my new weapon when i get it and keep the stormherald to pvp with.


Aye all 3 sets are are bt/hyjal quality. I tank hyjal... I heal hyjal and bt and Ive ret' in bt little rusty though =p but I do have some pieces that are not up there but most of it is all epics.

pretty good responses. as far as your spec goes, why do you take Benediction over 2pt Vindication and 3/3 Pursuit of Justice? From what I know mana isn't usually a problem and the 15% run speed will help a lot for getting out of whirlwinds or dodging AoE on Council. (The 2 points in Vindication versus 2/5 Benediction are negligible since most mobs are immune to Vindication, you could even put 2 points into guardian's favor)

Well honostly, Ive never tried that spec, I hear the 2 vind procs immune on boss but procs seal of wisdom, but ive also heard immune doesnt work. I how ever have never personally tested it and as far as persuit of justice goes, I generally havnt had much trouble with my current run speed. Never put much thought into switching as this has always worked and been what i used. If yall feel that its that much better I guess Ill give it ago one day soon =0

The immune used to proc it, but not anymore. As far as PoJ goes, we usually recommend that everyone has some kind of run speed enchant on their boots and since those last few points are negligible, getting PoJ lets you run even faster and get 12agi instead of cat's swiftness. Basically you can do fine without it, but it helps.

All kinds of people trying to replace me...dayum. Hi Skuish. =p I vouch for Skuish completely as whatever spec. He knows his shit.

It has been confirmed that the immune vindication doesn't proc wisdom by EJ. Not going to lie. Vanquisher Legplates make me want to throw up. I had them forever and always hated them. =/ Badge ones are very nice..as are Archimonde and Gurtogg ones. Yada yada yada. I'm sure you already know all this so I don't feel like going through it.

Gear is a -tad- lacking, but could be up to par in as little as a couple weeks with a little work and luck.

If you're serious about this, you should probably at least attempt the following 7 step program.

1. Drop 5/5 Benediction and get PoJ. (2 pts in Benediction, Guardian's Favor, or Vindication)
2. Do some GKP runs to get felspine and some gold for mongooose for once you get it.
3. Pug Gruuls and get a DST.
4. Grind out exalted with Shattered Sun Offensive and grab the Exalted Necklace.
5. Get rid of those fucking legplates.
6. ???
7. Profit.

Yeah, if you can spare the time/gold to snag a felspine it would be well worth your while.

Isn't Mongoose better in pve?

To a certain point. I could check, but the number that Skuish stated (840) seems about right. Once you hit that point..fully raid buffed, executioner becomes better. However, it isn't possible (to my knowledge) to get that amount of armor pen (without getting stupid gear) without having both a Cat's Edge and Gurtogg Legs. I use Executioner on my Cat's for both pve and pvp. If I were to get Felspine..Mongoose for sure.

840 is correct.

Step 8: Grind badges! I'd personally grab the badge ring first, wait on a felspine or something else, and just grab Arch/Gurtogg leggings.

Yea my legs are ugly lawl i have s3 legs which are better then those, but again, i need the blue socket for the meta gem.. i think badge legs have a blue gem and are really sexy =0

Just becuase becuase you jewed someone out of a dst on ur alt rogue the first day you hit 70 doesnt give u a right to make me feel bad, that the shit is as rare as a leprichon riding a unicorn!
